Senators issued letters for this set of jerseys as they found the event of Gretzky’s last game in Canada in their home barn very significant. There’s even a video tribute citing it as ”a great game in Senators history”. There’s another video of Gretzky’s last shift in Canada and at the end of that one you can see Bruce Gardiner shake hands with the Great One. The skewed letter G is noticeable in the clip which I added a screen shot of here. THIS JERSEY IS CURRENTLY ON CONSIGNMENT AT MEIGRAY.
