On April 20th, 2021 the Pittsburgh Penguins wore these military-style warm-ups to benefit the Pittsburgh Fisher House and the Pittsburgh Warriors. The jerseys were designed by one of the players, Zach Aston-Reese, and each player was able to choose a branch of the military to represent. Dumoulin chose the Air Force and thus his jersey (along with all other Air Force players) said "AIM HIGH" on the back, which is part of the Air Force's motto ("Aim High...Fly-Fight-Win").
