The jersey has been photo-matched with the front crest to the game on May 1st, 1995. If you look at the crest, you will notice the crossed Sabres are uneven, with the right side extending further than the left one (see photo markup). The Sabre located on the right side is extended with the tip of the Sabre flush with the gold trim on the crest. The opposite Sabre on the left side is not flush with the gold trim; there is blue between the Sabre tip and gold trim.
