Jersey used in the "European Hockey League" tournament sponsored by the IIHF. Took place in September 97 thru January 98. This is similar to European Soccer "Leagues" where it is really a tourney of the top teams from various European Leagues. Other Russian teams that year were Dynamo and Torpedo Yaroslavl, the top 3 teams in the Western Division- considered to be the European division. Came with the IIHF 90th year patch barely on. Nikolaev played 6 regular and 2 playoff games for the team.
